Experimenting with dramatic lighting on a person. Model Aftra Packard. With Nikon Z7ii
I've moved my work space out to the deck to enjoy the fall weather before snow arrives. I'm mostly reading and shooting a lot of test shots. The learning curve on the Nikon Z7ii is formidable (100 years) so I'm spending several days pinning down some anticipated configurations. It's a mirrorless, full frame and OH GOOD GRIEF!!!! 25000 ISO. I, as yet , only have an 80mm lens (shots of Aftra above) to expirement with and learn. It's an incredible lens with F1.8 max aperture.
The black and white Dragon Flys will land and sit still fort quite a while. Now I'm after the bright red ones. The season just changed and all of them have disappeared so I will have to wait for spring to catch the others.
Below are a couple of random shots of an event at Woodland Park that I ran into on my morning walk around the lake.
